The challenge
Interview prep tools are either too generic (leetcode clones) or too fragmented (Notion + timers + bookmarks). We needed one desktop-first experience for placement season — with SEO content that brings organic traffic.
Our approach
- Next.js App Router for marketing, blogs, and fast LCP on
prep-os.queztlabs.tech - Electron shell for focus lock, capture workflows, and offline-friendly study blocks
- Metadata-first SEO — titles, OG, Twitter cards, and structured content paths
- Iterative shipping on Vercel with preview branches per feature
The solution
Prep OS ships as a public web presence plus a downloadable desktop app. Students get a 7-day plan, AI-assisted capture from problem statements, and lockdown mode during sprints.
